Red Star Electric

Josh from Red Star Electric Corp came by and replaced my ceiling fan and light switch. He was prepared and knowledgeable. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He explained the project as he was completing it. He even offered other options in certain situations. When I have another electrical job, I will be calling Red Star to complete it.

My experience with Red Star Electric was exceptional. Josh Estrada visited my home and delivered service that went far beyond my expectations. He walked me through each room, explaining the fixtures, potential upgrades, and ways to improve the overall electrical setup. Josh is an absolute ace. He is warm, kind, knowledgeable, and someone I would trust around my family without hesitation. He took the time to answer every question and made sure I understood each detail. There is no doubt that Red Star Electric will be my go‑to choice for all electrical needs moving forward. If I could give this review ten stars, I would, but the system only allows five. Thank you, Josh, and thank you, Red Star Electric.

First time customer, took a chance based on ratings and did not disappoint. Josh was most professional, knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that helps to educate customers and provided sound options without just trying to make a profit. Very happy with the work done from start to finish. Highly recommend and will be using Red Star Electric again soon!

I found this company on Google and chose them based on their high ratings. I hired them to install hexagon lights (which I provided) in my shop. A dispatch fee was charged for the initial visit and quote. Josh assured me it would be a professional installation. The original quote was $3,900, which I negotiated down to $3,000 with the manager. The work took two days to complete. While the lights do function, the installation does not reflect the level of professionalism that was promised (see pictures). Additionally, the way the lights were connected has caused an electrical issue—if I use any outlet on the same side they tapped into, the fuse box trips and must be reset. When I contacted the manager regarding this issue, I was told that I “got a good deal” on the price. I clarified that I was not seeking a refund, only to have the problem addressed. He mentioned he was out of town and would schedule a follow-up upon his return, but I have not heard back since. UPDATED 8/25/25 Steven did reach out and they did come back correct the issue. Thank you 🤝

Alex, Josh and Alexander did a phenomenal job installing our chandeliers in our foyer and dining room. The team was educated, patient and responsive to our input throughout the entire installation process. This is the second job I have had done for me by Red Star and the team always does a phenomenal job. Murad managed my first installation for my EV charger and some line voltage architectural lighting and the team also did a great job there. No complaints.
